Mark Askelson has been a proud member of the Norman County Community througout his life. Mark graduated from Norman County East High School in 2006 and moved  on to attend Northland Community and Technical College, where he graduated with honors with a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting. Since 2011, Mark has been working for R & J Broadcasting reporting on local news and interacting with the many community leaders. In 2015, he began serving on the Twin Valley EDA & Parks Committee. An important goal of Mark's is to continue improving our already fantastic parks. By serving on the Norman County EDA, he hopes to be able to promote the wonderful recreational assets and amenities throughout the entire county. Mark also enjoys spending his free time announcing the Norman County Raceway and fishing the Wild Rice and Red Rivers.
