While the city doesn’t currently have public lots available, we may be able to connect you with private landowners who do. Reach out to us, we’re happy to help explore potential options for building in Ada.
Hendrum
Build your dream home close to Fargo-Moorhead in the The Wild Rice Addition. No Specials, Low Taxes.

The City of Hendrum offers 2 years FREE city utilities with water & sewer connection fees waived for any new home constructed in the Wild Rice Addition.
Halstad

Twin Valley
City Lots are available to anyone wanting to build a home in Twin Valley. Lots are improved with water and sewer and are ready for new construction. Learn more here.
Free Services:
- Free connection to water and sewer services. The City waives the water & sewer connection fees (a savings of $1625) to any new home built and occupied on any currently improved lot within the city limits. The home builder is responsible for the excavation and installation costs of their personal water and sewer lateral service lines.
- Free water, sewer & garbage collection service for six months. The City offers free Water, Sewer & Garbage collection services for six months to the occupants of any new home built within the city limits.
There are currently 9 city lots available. Purchase one lot within the Herold Cout for $1,750 and recieve the second lot free.
