Our Mission
The mission of the Norman County EDA is to promote the assets and opportunities available in Norman County, encouraging continual improvement of quality of life and quality of place throughout, and for, the current and future generations of the county.

John Hintz
President
John has been a member of the Norman County EDA since 2018 and has served as its President since 2023.
Rich Whitcomb
Vice President
Rich is currently the Red River Valley Co-op Power CEO in Halstad, MN. He has served as Vice President since 2024.
Lee Ann Hall
Treasurer
Lee Ann is a representative for the Norman County Board of Commissioners on the Norman County EDA Board.
Mark Askelson
Secretary
Mark represents the eastern portion of the county and has served on the board since 2018.
Eli Swenson
At Large
Eli represents the northwest portion of the county and has served as an EDA Board Member since 2024.
Jeremy Melting
At Large
Jeremy is the founder of OnDeck Recruiting and has brought a wealth of experience to the board from 2021 – 2022 and 2025 – present.
John Kolness
At Large
John has represented the western portion of the county as a board member since 2019. He is the owner/operator of Heritage Publications, LLC.
Scott Mangum
At Large
Scott is a resident of Perley, MN, and a local business owner, joining the board in 2026.
